After a career in events and marketing I decided that I wanted to be an Executive PA. I started at a college in London and was learning shorthand, touch typing, business spreadsheets, presentations etc.
In that first term I got ill. It took a while and saw various doctors but it turned out I had a malignant brain tumor. I was only 23! I was told on the Thursday and in hospital for the op on the Monday.
I had radiotherapy and chemotherapy. I got the ALL CLEAR! Phew!
After that I went back to living in London and started at Uni. The start of my web life.
I studied web design and development and all that goes with it at University.
I now focus on making websites for small companies and individuals.
Apart from delivering great websites the key in this market is to keep costs down, focus on the Users Experience. This aim is so that YOU get the best user engagement and conversion rate to increase your income growth.
Emma’s Web has built websites covering a wide range of markets – a Nutritionist, an Interior Designer, Marine Gas Free Certification, a Gym, and a published author to name but a few.
Emma’s Web is based in Farnham, Surrey. I work remotely and through the power on Google Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp etc. I can work globally. In fact, I am talking to a chap in Bermuda at the moment regarding a website.
Having a website will help your business by creating endless opportunities for you and your business!

About the money
OK, I’ll be straight with you.
I am not the cheapest but I am far from the expensive agencies!
I once had a client come to me to help with their site.
It was a mess and a very unstable website. No SEO had been done for the text or images. None of the important stuff had been done.
They had paid £20,000 thousand pounds to an agency for this!
I’ll make you a promise or 5
I solemnly declare –
1 – I will never charge you that much. Unless you want a 20 page website with lots of fancy graphics and gizmo’s.
2 – I will build you the website that you want by working closely with you and showing you the different stages as they are done.
3 – I will develop you a website that attracts traffic. This will create you ongoing opportunities.
4 – I’ll make sure that it is responsive for mobile and tablet.
5 – I will always (maybe not weekends. We all need a break!) be on the end of the line to help your website if any problem occurs.
